Why the departure point changes the price

The cruise is the same; the transport is not. Joining at Manapouri is cheapest because you got yourself there. Te Anau adds a short coach leg. Queenstown adds a long one, and adds hours to a day that is already nine.

If your budget is tight and you have a car, drive to Manapouri and book the base product. That is the cheapest way onto the water by a clear margin.

Is the overnight worth double?
